About Us

After almost 20 years in the advertising industry, in 2019 Hayley made a passionate career change into floristry. After graduating from Bloom College in 2019, Hayley worked as a freelance florist in retail as well as for weddings and events.

In 2019, Hayley also met Matthew, and although the idea for Peninsula Posy Project started in 2020, a little baby arrival by the name of Noah put plans on hold until PPP launched in 2023.

Creating a more eco-friendly and sustainable flower delivery service drives Hayley, and Matthew is right there to back her up. Peninsula Posy Project is committed to using 100% biodegradable inner foam and outer bags, and all gift tags and stickers are completely compostable and recyclable. PPP also tries to be as environmentally friendly as possible in their practices as well. All water sourcing in the workshop is re-used on potted plants, flowers and terrariums, and Matthew is continuously using re-purposed timber and materials to create tools and furniture for the workshop.

The perfect partnership! Noah is on board too!
